Reston

Reston - is a planned community located in Fairfax County set on 17.2 square miles in Virginia twenty miles west of Washington D.C. Robert E. Simon founded Reston on his 50th birthday April 20, 1964. His initials RES make up the first three letters of the town name. Since the opening of Dulles Airport in 1962, Reston has grown into a major activity center for the northern Virginia.
